GROUP CLASSES
Come and get your exercises done with a group of like-minded individuals who share your goals around health and wellbeing. All classes are guided by either an exercise physiologist or physiotherapist and aim to target specific goals in each class.
If you are new to the clinic, a 1:1 appointment with an exercise physiologist is required to determine your suitability to classes. This also provides a chance to discuss your goals, exercise preferences and meet your class instructor prior to your first class.
Our classes include:
Clinical Exercise Training (CET)
Individualised programs in a group setting, clinical exercise training sessions offers supervised training for those recovering from injury or with diagnosed conditions who have more specific goals then can be achieved through group classes.
Hydrotherapy
This guided aquatic exercise class uses the supportive and low-impact environment of water to improve joint mobility, muscle strength, balance, and overall function. Ideal for individuals managing arthritis, chronic pain, injury recovery, or limited mobility, hydrotherapy offers a safe and effective way to stay active under the supervision of trained professionals.
Pink Ladies / Cancer Fit
As a clinic specialising in oncology and lymphoedema treatment, PEP Movement provides group exercise therapy for patients at any point along your cancer journey and into remission. Side-effects of cancer treatments don’t disappear, and neither do we. There is no cut-off time to starting with us.
Sweet Spot
This specialised class is designed for people with Type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes. Led by trained professionals, the program combines low-impact aerobic activity, resistance training, and flexibility exercises to help manage blood sugar, boost energy and support overall metabolic health. Stand Tall
This evidence-based class is designed to reduce falls risk through targeted exercises that improve strength, balance, and mobility. Participants will also learn strategies for identifying and minimising environmental and behavioural risk factors. Whether you're looking to regain confidence or stay ahead of the game, this class is a step in the right direction.
Fit over 50s
General strength and conditioning class for over 50s, particularly helpful in prevention of hypertension, diabetes, and weight management. Any musculoskeletal precautions (eg. previous surgery or injury) can be easily adapted for patients in these classes.
Young Guns
For the budding athletes of the area, this is the one for you. Classes focus on injury prevention exercises (such as the FIFA11 & Netball Australia’s KNEE programs), while also adding strength, cardio, coordination, reaction timing and fun in the mix!
Movers and Shakers
Tailored to help manage patients living with Parkinson’s Disease, this class will be open to all capacities. Currently these classes are not scheduled, however please call for expression of interest and we will commence at a mutually agreed time.
Social Sweat
Start your weekend off with a bang with a predesigned group program. Expect a mix of cardio and strength in a supportive and social setting.
